AVOIDING SCAMS
With the Internet today, and the ability to stay anonymous, scams or fraud, are very common. Scammers are professionals, and are very convincing. They will make you think you are going to get your product, but you will not. We've supplied some tips, to help you avoid Internet scams. If a pharmacy falls under any of the tips below, it does
not necessarily mean they are a scammer. The tips below are based on tactics that proven scammers have used in the past.
- Go to Whois. Enter the Web site name. If the Web site was just registered 1-3 weeks ago, but on their Web site, they have several customer testimonials, you should be suspicious. It will take on average 2 weeks for a product
to arrive, and it will also take some time before people even find the Web site.
- If the pharmacy has unbelievable prices, be cautious. Don't forget, companies can only sell the drugs for so cheap, before they start losing money.
- If on the Web site, or in e-mails, they continuously try to convince you to place an order, be cautious.
- They have products that don't even exist on their Web site.
- Bad grammar and spelling on the Web site.
Keep your eyes open for any sites that have these properties. If it's a new pharmacy, and they aren't on our list, take a small test order, where you won't lose a lot of money if anything goes wrong. Never order more than you can afford to lose. |
